The Nissan NV200 is Nissan's compact cargo van, sold in the US from 2013 through 2021. The same vehicle was rebadged and sold as the Chevrolet City Express from 2015 to 2018 under a GM-Nissan agreement. The NV200 found wide use in last mile delivery, mobile services (HVAC technicians, plumbers, locksmiths), and notably as the Taxi of Tomorrow platform in New York City. Globally, the same chassis served as the London Taxi (the LEVC TX5 platform predecessor) and the all electric Nissan e-NV200 (not sold in US). The AC compressor is the heart of the air conditioning system. Driven by a belt off the engine crankshaft via an electromagnetic clutch, it pressurizes the R134A refrigerant gas, sending it through the condenser, expansion valve, and evaporator to produce cabin cooling. When the AC compressor fails, the cabin AC stops cooling, and on hot summer days that is a serious comfort and safety issue, especially for delivery drivers and taxi drivers who depend on a working AC system to do their job.
Our used Nissan NV200 AC compressor features 12V coil voltage operation, 115 mm pulley diameter, 6 groove serpentine belt configuration, and runs R134A refrigerant. The integrated electromagnetic clutch assembly engages and disengages the compressor as the AC system demands.
