The Toyota 1GR-FE is a 4.0 liter naturally-aspirated V6 with an aluminum block, DOHC heads, and VVT-i (Dual VVT-i on later units). It is known for durability and steady torque, which is why it powered a long run of Toyota trucks and SUVs.
Please note a correction. The live spec sheet on this listing lists a 3.0L inline-6, twin-turbo, 382 hp engine. That is not the 1GR-FE. The real 1GR-FE is a naturally-aspirated 4.0L V6 making roughly 236 to 285 hp and 266 to 278 lb-ft depending on the year, on regular unleaded. We have corrected the specs here.
Output changed over the production run, mostly with the move from VVT-i to Dual VVT-i. Confirm your year and application by VIN so you receive the correct generation for your truck.
