Description
About 2013 Nissan Altima Headlights
The 2013 Nissan Altima sedan was offered in S, SV, SL, and SR trims, each available with one of two distinct headlight types. The S and SV trims came with halogen reflector headlights, identifiable by the gold-tinted reflector bowl visible through the clear lens and the absence of LED daytime running lights. The SL and SR trims came with LED projector headlights, identifiable by the LED daytime running ring around a projector lens for low beam. Both styles fit the 2013 to 2015 Altima sedan (L33 chassis) only, not the coupe (which uses different sheetmetal and headlight shape) and not the 2016 onward refreshed Altima (which has redesigned V-motion grille and headlight units).
2013 Nissan Altima Headlight Assembly Replacement is Common Past 8 Years
Most 2013 Altima headlight replacement orders are triggered by: front-end collision damage breaking a mounting tab or cracking the lens, internal moisture or fogging from a compromised seal, heavy lens yellowing past the point of polishing restoration, broken adjuster screws, DOT inspection failure due to compromised lens or aim, or simply restoring the look of a tired-looking front end on an otherwise good Altima.
Halogen Reflector vs LED Projector
The two types are NOT interchangeable as a pair. Mixing halogen on one side with LED projector on the other produces a visibly mismatched front-end appearance and may fail visual inspection in many states. Always replace in matched pairs when possible.
Things to Confirm Before Ordering
- Driver side, passenger side, or both
- Halogen reflector or LED projector type, the two are not visually interchangeable
- Trim level of your specific 2013 Altima
- Year (2013, 2014, or 2015 should all match L33 pre-facelift, but call to confirm)

Hit some debris on the highway and cracked the passenger side headlight. Vaz had a clean halogen replacement that matched my SV trim. Lens was clear, all electrical functions tested before shipping. Drop-in install in under 30 minutes. Saved me about $400 over the dealer.

Needed an LED projector headlight for my SL after the lens cracked from a road debris hit. Vaz confirmed LED type and 2014 cross-compatibility, sent photos before shipping, light scuffing on the housing was disclosed. Looks great, works great, much cheaper than dealer or aftermarket Chinese replacements.
