Description

Fender Flares for Dodge Ram 250 for Sale, Restore Heavy-Duty Pickup Body Presentation

Fender flares are one of the most visible exterior components on any Dodge Ram heavy-duty pickup. When they fade, crack, or break from work duty use, the entire truck looks tired regardless of how clean the rest of the body is. Additionally, broken or missing flares create legal compliance issues in states that require tires to be covered by either body or flare material, especially on heavy-duty trucks with larger tires that often extend wider than the bare body.

A verified used Dodge Ram 250 / Ram 2500 / RAM 2500 fender flare set restores correct factory presentation, provides legal tire coverage, and protects the body fender lip from work-duty damage. We inspect every flare set: surface condition, mounting tab integrity, clip engagement points, color uniformity across the set, and flare-to-flare match. Generation-specific fitment verified before shipping.

Get your Ram heavy-duty pickup back to factory exterior presentation today.

2 reviews for FENDER FLARES FOR DODGE RAM 250 FOR SALE

  1. Greg Patterson

Replaced beat-up factory flares on my 1998 Ram 2500 Cummins (2nd gen) with a verified used set from Vaz. They confirmed 2nd gen 1994-2002 specifically. Surface condition was much better than mine, mounting tabs all intact, matte black depth consistent. Install took about 90 minutes. The Big-rig look is back without the work-duty damage. Saved hundreds over new dealer pricing.

  2. Allison Hayes

Picked up a front pair for my 2014 RAM 2500 (4th gen) that had been damaged by a tree branch. Vaz confirmed 4th gen and front-pair specifically. Donor was a 2013 RAM 2500. Match to my existing rears is very close. One star off because one flare has a slight scuff that they did disclose with photos but a bit more visible in person. Otherwise great service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will 2nd gen Ram 2500 flares fit my 4th gen RAM 2500?

No. Each Ram 250 / 2500 generation has different fender geometry and the flares are not interchangeable. The 1994-2002 Ram 2500 (big-rig styling) and the 2010-2018 RAM 2500 (post-brand-split body) have entirely different fender profiles, mounting hole positions, and overall geometry. Always specify your exact generation at the time of order.

Will Ram 1500 light-duty flares fit my Ram 2500?

Generally no. The 1500 light-duty and 2500 heavy-duty Ram pickups have different wheel well sizes, different track widths, and often different tire sizes. A 1500 flare will typically be too narrow to provide proper coverage on a 2500. Some applications may overlap visually but the fitment and proportions will be off. Always use 2500-specific flares for the 2500 truck.

My Ram is a dually (3500 dual rear wheel). Will Ram 2500 flares fit?

Front flares often share between Ram 2500 single rear wheel and 3500 dual rear wheel of the same generation. Rear flares are different: 3500 dually rear flares are significantly wider to cover the dual rear wheels. Specify whether you need single-rear-wheel or dual-rear-wheel rear flares when ordering. We can usually source either configuration.

Are these authentic Mopar parts or aftermarket?

These are authentic OEM Mopar parts sourced from donor Ram vehicles. We do not sell aftermarket reproduction flares on this listing. Authentic OEM provides factory-correct geometry and textured matte black finish that matches your existing body trim. If you want aftermarket flares (Bushwacker, Lund, Stampede, RT Off-Road), those are different products from off-road specialty retailers.

How do I install Ram fender flares?

Installation overview: (1) Park on level ground. (2) Remove the existing flares by unscrewing screws from inside the fender lip and releasing clips with plastic trim tools (some flares have hidden screw locations on inside of body). (3) Clean the body fender lip thoroughly. (4) Position the new flare against the body and align with body holes. (5) Start screws by hand to verify thread engagement. (6) Tighten screws in sequence (plastic does not need much torque). (7) Push clips into pre-drilled body holes until they snap. (8) Verify gap consistency between flare and body around the entire arch. Total time 45 to 120 minutes for a full set.

Do you include screws and clips with the flare set?

Hardware varies by listing. Some flare sets come with intact hardware from the donor vehicle, others come bare. Verify at time of order. New Mopar OEM hardware (screw kit and clip kit) is available from RAM dealers or specialty suppliers for typically $20 to $60 per truck. Reusing old hardware is acceptable if it is in good condition.

My truck has aftermarket flares already. Can I switch back to OEM?

Usually yes, but verify the body is not modified. Some aftermarket flare installations (especially pocket-style flares with extended coverage) involve drilling additional body holes or trimming the body fender lip. If your body has been modified, OEM flare installation may not be clean without bodywork repair. If body is unmodified, OEM flares will reinstall cleanly.

How does shipping work?

Free shipping to all 50 US states. A full flare set weighs 6 to 12 lbs and ships in a larger box (typically 48 x 30 x 18 inches or similar to accommodate the wider profile of heavy-duty truck flares). UPS or FedEx Ground. Typical transit is 5 to 10 business days from order confirmation given the larger package handling. Each flare is wrapped to prevent transit damage.

Product Warranty

15 Day Replacement Warranty. Covered: defects discovered at delivery (broken flares on arrival not disclosed prior, severely faded color not flagged before shipping, missing pieces from advertised set, broken mounting tabs not disclosed). Not covered: UV fading or weathering that occurs after install, damage from improper installation including over-tightened screws that crack plastic, damage from work-duty use after install, normal cosmetic age signs consistent with used parts, labor costs of any kind. Note: these are used parts with age-appropriate cosmetic characteristics. Verify generation and set composition before ordering. Contact (240) 301-0095 within 15 days of delivery.
