Description
Premium Jeep TJ Front Fenders for Sale, Restore Classic Wrangler Body Presentation
Front fenders are one of the most replaced body panels on the Jeep Wrangler TJ. Reasons range from rust degradation (TJs in northern road-salt states often have significant lower fender rust by 10 years of service), to off-road damage from rocks and trees, to crash damage on the highway, to bracket damage from improperly installed lift kits, to tube fender conversion projects where the original steel fenders were discarded.
A verified used premium TJ front fender pair restores correct factory body presentation on your Wrangler. We inspect every fender: body rust (lower edge and headlight bucket where TJ rust forms), crash damage (panel alignment with adjacent body), bracket integrity, bolt hole condition, and paint quality documented honestly.
Get your TJ back to authentic factory body presentation today.
About the Jeep Wrangler TJ (1997-2006)
The Second-Generation Wrangler that Brought Back Coil Springs
The TJ replaced the YJ in 1997 with major improvements: coil-spring suspension (replacing YJ leaf springs for much better on-road manners and off-road articulation), round headlights returned (replacing the controversial YJ square headlights), refined interior, and fuel injection on all engines. The TJ ran 10 years through 2006 before being replaced by the JK in 2007.
TJ Trim Levels (All Use Same Front Fenders)
SE: base trim, 2.5L I4 or 2.4L PowerTech I4
Sport / X: mid-trim with 4.0L AMC I6
Sahara: higher trim with body-color flares, equipment, and unique color packages
Rubicon: 2003-2006 off-road trim with Dana 44 axles, Rock-Trac transfer case, locking differentials
Unlimited (LJ): 2004-2006 longer wheelbase variant with 10-inch additional wheelbase
Why TJ Removable Fenders Are Iconic
The TJ front fenders bolt directly to the body tub with four bolts per side. Remove the bolts, lift the fender off. This design enables easy off-road damage replacement (a common TJ ownership reality), tube fender conversion for serious off-road builds, paint refinishing off the truck, and easier engine bay access for service.
Signs Your TJ Front Fenders Need Replacement
Rust holes along the lower fender edge (most common TJ rust location)
Rust around the headlight bucket area
Crash damage from off-road impact or highway collision
Misalignment with adjacent panels (hood gap inconsistent)
Bracket damage from improperly installed lift kit
Paint failure beyond cosmetic restoration
Previously had tube fenders and converting back to OEM steel
Restoring TJ to factory-correct presentation

Replaced rust-eaten lower fender edges on my 2003 TJ Rubicon (Patriot Blue). Vaz had a verified used pair from a 2005 TJ donor in matching Patriot Blue, much less rust than what I was running. Confirmed both fenders from same donor for color match. Took about an hour per side to swap with headlight transfer. New fender pair looks excellent next to the rest of the body. Saved the cost of body shop rust repair which would have been hundreds more.

Bought a TJ front fender pair to replace damage from off-road impact on my 2000 TJ Sahara. Vaz confirmed the iconic TJ removable fender design and shipped via freight. Arrived well-packaged. One fender has slight surface rust at the lower edge that they did disclose with photos but a bit more visible in person. Functionally everything is correct including brackets and bolt holes. Transferred my flares from the damaged fenders without issue. Painted to match my Khaki body.
