Description

Chevy Fender Flares for Sale, Multi-Platform Coverage Across the Chevrolet Truck and SUV Lineup

Fender flares are among the most visible exterior components on any Chevrolet truck or SUV. When they fade, crack, or break from work duty or off-road use, the entire vehicle looks tired regardless of how clean the rest of the body is. Additionally, broken or missing flares create legal compliance issues in states that require tires to be covered by either body or flare material.

A verified used Chevrolet fender flare set restores correct factory presentation, provides legal tire coverage, and protects the body fender lip from work-duty damage. We inspect every flare set: surface condition, mounting tab integrity, clip engagement points, color uniformity, and flare-to-flare match. Platform and generation-specific fitment verified before shipping.

2 reviews for CHEVY FENDER FLARES FOR SALE

  1. Dale Henderson

Replaced beat-up factory flares on my 2010 Silverado 1500 LT (GMT900) with a verified used set from Vaz. They confirmed GMT900 generation specifically and shipped a matched matte black set. Surface condition was much better than mine, mounting tabs all intact, matte black depth consistent. Install took about 90 minutes. The truck looks proper again. Significant savings over dealer pricing.

  2. Vanessa Pierce

Bought a front pair for my 2017 Tahoe LT (K2XX) after a tree branch damaged one. Vaz confirmed K2XX generation and matched my body color from donor. One star off because color match is very close but not exact (slight difference in metallic depth) so I am repainting at a body shop anyway. Otherwise the fitment is perfect and the team was helpful with cross-reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my Silverado 1500 flares fit a Silverado 2500HD?

No. The 1500 light-duty and 2500HD heavy-duty Silverados have different wheel wells (2500HD is wider for larger tires), different track widths, and different overall geometry. A 1500 flare will typically be too narrow on a 2500HD. Use 2500HD-specific flares for the heavy-duty truck.

Can I use Silverado flares on my Tahoe or vice versa?

No, despite the platform sharing. The Silverado and Tahoe share platforms (GMT800, GMT900, etc.) but have different body lines and different flare geometry. The Silverado has a pickup bed with different rear wheel arch geometry than the Tahoe SUV rear. Each platform requires its specific flares.

How do I tell which generation my Silverado is?

General guidelines: GMT800 = 1999-2007 (classic squared body), GMT900 = 2007-2013 (smoother lines), K2XX = 2014-2018 (refined body), T1XX = 2019+ (current angular styling). Note 2007 had both GMT800 (Classic) and GMT900 (new) variants. Call (240) 301-0095 with your VIN and we will identify your exact generation.

What is the difference between matte black flares and body-color flares?

Trim level typically determines finish. Work-duty trims (Work Truck, WT, LS, Custom) come with matte black textured flares for work appearance and easy cross-vehicle color matching. Higher trims (LT, LTZ, High Country) often come with body-color paintable flares that match the truck body for refined appearance. Body-color flares can be refinished if scratched, matte black flares require trim restorer products if faded.

How do I install Chevy fender flares?

Installation overview: (1) Park on level ground. (2) Remove existing flares by unscrewing screws from inside the fender lip and releasing clips with plastic trim tools. (3) Clean the body fender lip thoroughly. (4) Position the new flare against the body and align with body holes. (5) Start screws by hand to verify thread engagement. (6) Tighten screws in sequence. (7) Push clips into pre-drilled body holes until they snap. (8) Verify gap consistency. Total time 45 to 120 minutes for full set depending on platform.

My Chevy has a lift kit. Will OEM flares still fit?

Generally yes if the body and fenders themselves were not modified. A lift kit typically lifts the frame and suspension without modifying the body or fenders, so OEM flares still fit the body. However, larger tires that come with lift kits may extend past flare coverage and require aftermarket flares (Bushwacker pocket-style or extended-coverage) for proper tire coverage and legal compliance.

Are these authentic GM parts or aftermarket?

These are authentic OEM GM parts sourced from donor Chevy vehicles. We do not sell aftermarket reproduction flares on this listing. Authentic OEM provides factory-correct geometry and the textured matte black or paintable finish that matches your existing body trim. If you want aftermarket flares (Bushwacker, Lund, Stampede, Husky), those are different products.

How does shipping work?

Free shipping to all 50 US states. A flare set weighs 4 to 12 lbs depending on platform and ships in a medium to large box. UPS or FedEx Ground. Typical transit is 5 to 10 business days. Each flare is wrapped to prevent transit damage.
